അസ്സലാമുഅലൈക്കും,
മുസ്ലിം സമുദായത്തിന്‍റെ ശാസ്ത്ര-സാങ്കേതിക രംഗങ്ങളിലെ മുരടിപ്പിനെപ്പറ്റി പറഞ്ഞല്ലോ.
എന്നാല്‍ ഈ കുറവ് സമ്മതിക്കുന്ന പലരും, വൈജ്ഞാനിക രംഗത്ത് മുസ്ലിംകള്‍ പിന്നിലാണെന്ന് സമ്മതിക്കുകയില്ല. കാരണം ചരിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ അലിഫ്-ബ-ത അറിയാവുന്ന എല്ലാ മുസ്ലീംകള്‍ക്കും അറിയാം - പണ്ട് പണ്ടൊരു കാലത്ത് ഒരു സ്പെയിന്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെന്നും, ഗണിതശാസ്ത്രം, വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്രം, ഗോളശാസ്ത്രം... എന്നുവേണ്ടാ പ്രമുഖ ശാസ്ത്ര ശാഖകളിലെല്ലാം മുസ്ലീംകളുടെ സംഭാവനകള്‍ വളരെ വലുതായിരുന്നെന്നും. അല്‍ ഖവാരിസ്മി, ഇബ്നു സിന, ഇബ്നു ഹൈതം, അര്‍രാസി അങ്ങനെ എത്രയെത്ര മഹാന്മാര്‍ !! ... ... ഇത് പറയുന്നതില്‍ ഒരുതരം ആത്മനിര്‍വൃതി പലരിലും ഞാന്‍ ദര്‍ശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. "ന്ടുപ്പുപ്പാക്കൊരാനെണ്ടാര്‍ന്നു" എന്ന വൈക്കം മുഹമ്മദ്‌ ബഷീര്‍ കഥ പോലെ.
വിശുദ്ധ ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ വിജ്ഞാനകളുടെ ഭണ്ഡാരം ആണെന്ന് അവര്‍ക്ക് ഉറപ്പാണ്‌.
ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ പഠിക്കുന്നതും പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നതും ഏറ്റവും മഹ്ത്വരമായ കാര്യമാണ് എന്നും അവര്‍ക്കറിയാം.
ലോകത്ത് ഏറ്റവും അധികം പാരായണം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഗ്രന്ഥം വിശുദ്ധ ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ ആണെന്ന കാര്യത്തില്‍ തര്‍ക്കമില്ലതാനും.
അതായത്, മുസ്ലീംകള്‍ ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ പഠിക്കുന്നു; അതോടെ വിജ്ഞാനകളുടെ ഭണ്ഡാരം മുസ്ലീംകളുടെ കയ്യില്‍ സുരക്ഷിതം. ആത്മനിര്‍വൃതിക്ക് ഇതില്‍പ്പരം എന്ത് വേണം?

മേല്‍പ്പറഞ്ഞ ഒന്നും രണ്ടും മൂന്നും പോയിന്‍റുകളില്‍ എല്ലാ മുസ്ലീംകള്‍ക്കും ഏകാഭിപ്രായമാണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ പ്രശ്നം പഠനവും പാരായണവും തമ്മിലുള്ള വ്യത്യാസമാണ്. ഇംഗ്ലിഷ് അക്ഷരമാല മാത്രം അറിയാവുന്ന ഒരാള്‍ ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പുസ്തകം വായിക്കുന്നത് രസകരമാവില്ലേ? അതെ അക്ഷരമാല തന്നെ മതി അയാള്‍ക്ക്‌ ഫിലിപിനോ ഭാഷയോ തുര്‍ക്കി ഭാഷയോ പോലുള്ള പല ഭാഷകളും കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യാന്‍ എന്നു ധരിച്ചാലോ? ഇങ്ങനെ ഓരാള്‍ , ഞാന്‍ ഇംഗ്ലിഷ്, ഫിലിപിനോ, തുര്‍ക്കി സാഹിത്യങ്ങള്‍ പഠിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് അവകാശപ്പെട്ടാല്‍ നാം എന്ത് പറയും? ഇത് തന്നെയല്ലേ മുസ്ലിം സമുദായത്തിന്‍റെ ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ എന്ന വിജ്ഞാന ഭണ്ഡാരവുമായുള്ള ബന്ധവും? ലോകത്ത് എവിടെയെങ്കിലും ആരെങ്കിലും ഇന്ന് ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ പഠന-മനനം ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടോ? ഇല്ലെന്നു നമുക്ക് ഉറപ്പിച്ചു പറയാനാവും. ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഒരു അല്‍ ഖവാരിസ്മിയോ , ഇബ്നു സിനയോ ആധുനിക ലോകത്ത് ഉണ്ടാകുമായിരുന്നില്ലേ? നമ്മളിന്നു മാനത്തേക്ക് നോക്കുന്നത് റമദാന്‍, ശവ്വാല്‍ , ദുല്‍ഹജ്ജ് ചന്ദ്രക്കലയ്ക്ക് മാത്രമാണ്. മനനം ചെയ്യുന്നത് ചന്ദ്രക്കല നഗ്നനേത്രം കൊണ്ട് കാണണോ അതോ ബൈനോക്കുലര്‍ വഴി ആകാമോ എന്നും. ഇതില്‍ കൂടുതലായി ഒരു വാനനിരീഷണം മുസ്ലിം സമുദായത്തിന് അന്യമാണ്.
അങ്ങനെ വിജ്ഞാന ഭണ്ഡാരവുമായി നാം ഉറങ്ങുന്നു. നേരത്തെ എഴുതിയിരുന്നത്പോലെ മറഞ്ഞു നിന്ന് ഇത് കേട്ടവര്‍ ആണോ എന്നറിയില്ല... അവര്‍ കടലും, കരയും ആകാശവും പഠിക്കുന്നു. മുസ്ലിം സമുദായം "പൂച്ചക്കെന്തു പോന്നുരുക്കുന്നേടത്ത് കാര്യം" എന്ന നിസ്സങ്കതയിലും.
"ഗ്രന്ഥം ചുമക്കുന്ന കഴുത" എന്ന വിശുദ്ധ ഖുര്‍ആനിന്റെ പ്രയോഗം (ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ 62:5) ഞങ്ങളെ ഒട്ടും ആലോസരപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുമില്ല.
ഒരുകാര്യം കൂടി പറഞ്ഞു നിര്‍ത്താം. "ചൈനയില്‍ പോയിട്ടാണെങ്കിലും 'ഇല്മു' നേടണം എന്ന് പ്രവാചകന്‍ (സ.അ) പറഞ്ഞത് ചൈനയില്‍ പോയി ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ പഠിക്കാനാവില്ല എന്ന് വ്യക്തം.
ചോദിച്ചുപോവുകയാണ്‌ - ഈ മുസ്ലിം സമുദായത്തിനെന്തുപറ്റി?

The so called Muslims have neglected the teaching of Islam and run after just merely for the worldly benefits and amusements. Unfortunately they are purchasing the hellfire for this perishing worldly life. Ǧābir ibn ʿAbd-Allāh reported that Muhammad salallahu wa alyhi wasalam said: "The best remembrance of Allah is to repeat lā ʾilāha ʾillallāh and the best prayer (duʿāʾ) is al-ḥamdu li-llāh (all praise belongs to Allah). മറുപടിഇല്ലാതാക്കൂYes it's true that we (muslim Ummah) have stopped producing great personalties and maestros in science and technology nowadays, as we were supposed to do in the past - the days of Andalusia, the Islamic Spain.
But one thing I would like to remind the brothers reading this (insha Allah) is that we must understand the current situation of this Ummah, before we start to stab it from the inside (I seek refuge in Allah).
Before we say it's because we are not good in our deen, we don't make scientists, please try to understand that there are priorities in Islam. We are now living in a time in which the muslims are wounded, they are tortured, humiliated and being stripped off their dignity day and night. Each day, the sun rises and the situation is getting worsened. So for a man who is sane, We are not living in a peaceful, secure, safe society with honor and islam established.
So in such a situation, obviously the priority goes to restoring the lost jewel - the Khilafah, peace, and dignity back.
A party in this ummah look to the skies at night not to see stars, not to know whether it's ramadan or not, but to check whether there is any missile coming across. So how can we complain the Muslims who are in such a situation for not exploring the science in it ?
So it is not appropriate for us to desire, and inspire the ummah for something not valuable. Let's inspire the ummah to tackle the shackles of this time. It's not because that we don't have people who understand the book of Allah to make a 'break through'in science, but it's because the people who understand the Book has understood their responsibility in this current situation and is working for it.
Yes, there was a Spain. Of which we should be proud. But Before making another Spain, or making any steps towards such a world, let's not forget the struggles of the Sahaaba(r), let's not forget how hard they stood day and night with Rasoolullah (s), so that Tariq (r) had men - REAL MEN - when he went in to conquer the spain. Let's not forget the salahudeen who opened the Holy land. And let's not forget those brave lions of this ummah who sacrificed and is sacrificing everything for this ummah.
May our call be to the Best, for the Best, so that Insha Allah, we'll be among the Best tomorrow.
